Spring 2011 Hosiery Trends

Yes, spring is finally here! We are due to hit 60 degrees here in Chicago today and people are walking around with a slightly dazed look, a smile on their face, and shedding layers of clothing like it’s August. At Coccolare Boutique, we were dancing in delight last night as we unpacked our spring shipment of fun and flirty hosiery. All the rage for spring are ankle and midcalf socks in bright pink, lace, fishnet and sheer hosiery. Don’t discount these looks until you check them out–they are comfortable, sexy, and most of all, FUN!

Moreen Lace Sock in white, black and pale pink

Thigh high stay up stockings with seams, dots, and lace are not just for evening anymore. Many runway shows paired these with short skirts for a look with maximum impact.

Very very sheer pantyhose in nude, tan and smoky black are a must with khaki, black or white summer looks. These colors have a tendency to make bare legs look dead, and a hint of sheer color gives you a more polished appearance.

Patterned pantyhose and tights continue to make a splash and work in the most conservative of offices, while adding interest to any outfit.

So stop by www.CoccolareBoutique.com, have a look around, and have a frisky spring!
